CCPA, which takes effect on January 1, 2020, is the latest regulatory privacy framework to become law and follows the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) launch nearly 18 months ago.
aqfer’s latest release builds on the platform’s history of market leading privacy features by adding support for the IAB v1.0 U.S. Privacy Technical Specifications released on November 18, 2019 to its existing privacy compliance features. Prior to this release, the aqfer platform already included centralized control of data onboarding, transfer and maintenance, easy configuration of monitoring according to data privacy frameworks, and scalable, repeatable processes for adjusting data handling in the event that proposed additional regulatory frameworks in other states become law.
