Product Marketing Manager

Job Description:

Aqfer is searching for a talented Product Marketing Manager to make an immediate impact on its growing business. This candidate will be a key member of the Aqfer product team, contributing first-hand to the success of the Aqfer Suite of Big Data Marketing SaaS tools. Aqfer is at the intersection of AdTech and MarTech, delivering tools to Marketing Agencies, MSP’s, and Systems Integrators. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for presenting our products in ways that will strengthen the brand and boost sales.

The Product Marketing Manager will contribute directly to product messaging, positioning, competitive intelligence, thought leadership, sales enablement, and partner collateral creation and maintenance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, creative and quantitative thinker, and someone who is deeply familiar with SaaS product marketing techniques to develop positioning and messaging.

The primary objective of the Product Marketing Manager will be sales enablement. The Product Marketing Manager must provide Aqfer’s sales organization with the information, content, and tools that help sales executives sell more effectively.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Have a deep understanding of Aqfer’s suite of products and be able to identify target customers and partners
  • Articulate what challenges clients face and how Aqfer’s tools are beneficial in meeting them
  • Translate technical details and features into benefits for the user
  • Understand the competitive landscape; follow and analyze market trends to position products and craft differentiated messaging
  • Architect and execute the overall product marketing roadmap (demand generation, pricing, product launches and communications, etc.)
  • Craft compelling messages across marketing channels
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies
  • Test marketing product features, releases, and ad copy
  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • At least 2 years experience in SaaS Product Marketing
  • Background in design and copywriting is a plus
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. market analysis, positioning and messaging, promotion strategy)
  • Familiar with AdTech, CRM, MarTech, and Enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools & website management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Creative Self-Starter
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field

The Product Manager will be responsible for driving the strategy and design of the aqfer Marketing Data Platform and its companion products. You will own your products from ideation through launch and drive decisions along each step of the process to enable our team to do their best work by delivering delightful experiences both to customers and partners. Responsibilities:

  • Define and document the business requirements of a scalable, efficient and effective Marketing Data Platform
  • Lead the design, development, maintenance, and presentation of aqfer’s MDP and own the specification through delivery/rollout
  • Understand customer needs to drive the evolution of the product by translating requirements into software product functionality
  • Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to realize successful product implementations
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among aqfer customers and development resources
  • Create, groom, prioritize and maintain the product requirements backlog and product roadmaps
  • Work with the development team on sprint planning, sprint reviews and quality assurance
  • Develop documentation to support successful implementation by partners and clients as well as professional services
  • Drive release readiness as well as cross organizational awareness of product/solution issues
  • Assist sales and services teams as the product subject matter expert

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years as Product Manager/Owner or Project Manager for a Mar/Ad-tech solution, getting into the weeds and being the go-to expert for the product, or have extensive experience with Mar/Ad-tech solutions in a non-Product role
  • Strong database and SQL skills
  • Passionate about dissecting challenges and coming up with solutions
  • Very strong ability to analyze and synthesize complex topics, but simplify and organize it for others
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and experience with Agile software development methodologies

SaaS Enterprise Sales Executive

Role:

Aqfer is currently seeking an experienced SaaS Enterprise Sales Executive who will be responsible for establishing and driving sales activities for our software products within a designated set of named accounts. The candidate is a successful seller and is looking for the right next step in their career. Building their equity stake in an innovative startup and delivering revolutionary marketing technology to marketers is what excites them. Candidate will be expected to penetrate and prospect those accounts for new business as well as establish new prospects from their own research.

Responsibilities:

  • Growing revenue via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing enterprise client accounts
  • Meeting Quarterly & Annual Revenue Targets
  • Managing perspective client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Leverage a consultative solutions sales process to prospects (selling a product as a solution)
  • Conducting one-on-one and group sales presentations
  • Tracking your sales process, forecasting and reporting within company provided sales system

Account Manager

Role:

Aqfer is searching for a talented Account Manager to join its Client Success team to make an immediate impact on its growing business. This candidate will be a key member of the Aqfer Product & Services team, contributing first-hand to the success of Aqfer’s Suite of Big Data Marketing SaaS tools. Aqfer is at the intersection of AdTech and MarTech, delivering tools to Marketing Agencies, MSP’s, and Systems Integrators. The Account Manager will own customers’ success using Aqfer’s products. The role includes responsibility for key client activities (e.g., on-boarding, support, services, adoption, advocacy, retention, etc.) and outcomes (e.g., renewals, up-sell, etc.). The role requires you to be a trusted teammate who fosters positive relationships throughout our organization to get things done.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop healthy customer relationships by creating engagement strategies and provisioning product and operational services, training, and customer services.
  • Onboard new clients by taking customers through the shortest path to value so that they can get some return on investment as soon as possible
  • Enhance customer training by crafting curriculum and organizing sessions to give clients customized training on Aqfer’s products in view of their specific needs
  • Build trust and transparency with clients by understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for Aqfer to provide additional services
  • Act as a customer advocate by ensuring customer feedback is heard and acted upon and being our clients’ voice in the company

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience within the enterprise SaaS industry in the Advertising, Marketing, or Big Data space as a technical account manager, client success manager, sales engineer or technical consultant
  • Proven ability to set account strategy and drive revenue growth across client accounts
  • Understanding of AdTech platforms and industry topics
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Solutions Engineers on key accounts to drive deals and influence
  • Solution-oriented and creative thinking skills to evaluate problems and to drive client outcomes
  • Effective project management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a methodical fashion

Full Stack Developer

Role:

Aqfer is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer, a key role in our Client Experience department. The candidate will work within a team on various projects, such as our client portal, interactive API documentation, tooling, and creation of example applications. This developer must have experience developing various web-based applications and knowledge of all stages of software development. The role requires you to work with other departments on the various layers of our infrastructure and be a trusted teammate who we can depend on to help meet deadlines in delivering the best quality experience to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with a team to develop highly efficient and scalable client facing applications
  • Assist in designing client-side software architecture
  • Create example applications in various programming languages
  • Implementation of interactive API documentation
  • Take part in code reviews and supporting team members with technical challenges
  • Work with data scientists and client feedback to improve software
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Contributing ideas and applying experience toward new development solutions
  • Troubleshoot issues or bugs reported by QA or clients
  • Occasional real-time client support

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant field
  • 2-5 years experience with front end languages, frameworks, and technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, etc.)
  • 2-5 years experience with back end languages (PHP, C#, Java, Node.js) and OOP (Object Oriented Programming)
  • A programming polyglot, able to move between different programming languages or learn new ones quickly.
  • Experience with UX/UI implementation, improving application usability, and device responsiveness
  • Familiarity with both relational (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience implementing them
  • Experience with cloud providers (Preferably AWS) and serverless technologies
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills
