About the Role
We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to jump in, move quickly, and help grow our expanding client base with technical solutions.
Reporting directly to the CRO, you will build and lead the solutions consulting practice at Aqfer: responsible for the initial pre-sales engagement, implementation, and subsequent steady-state handoff to customer-success teams. This role is for a builder who is ready to learn and contribute from day 1 and wants the responsibility and control of adapting and building a successful pre-sale technical team. You will engage directly and build relationships with executives at a wide range of customer types from Agencies to MarTech providers to Publishers and brands. You will be goaled with designing customer solutions pre-sale and ensuring clients move through their trial phase and become full-term customers who spend at scale on our platform.
You’ll be the go-to partner for your clients and prospects – guiding them from first technical conversation to long-term success. Think onboarding, adoption, problem-solving, and technical design and implementation. Your mission: make sure every client gets maximum value from Aqfer while spotting opportunities to grow the relationship. You’ll play a key part in helping to drive adoption, accelerate time-to-value, and build lasting relationships that fuel client growth and retention.
What You’ll Do
- Deeply understand customers’ technical requirements and craft elegant technical solutions
- Partner with Sales on pre-sales engagements, elicit customer technical and business KPIs, and define the success criteria of an engagement
- Develop and deliver custom onboarding plans to ensure customer success
- Scope, configure, test, and deliver our software solutions, requiring a degree of technical competency and understanding, leveraging skills such as SQL and API management
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, particularly in engineering, data science, and product roles
- Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for the Aqfer platform for clients and internals
- Provide ongoing feedback to product and engineering to drive roadmap initiatives
- Go deep to troubleshoot customer issues and manage more complex issues that may require product and engineering resources through to resolution
- Develop and maintain documentation outlining our best practices and procedures
About You
- 8+ years of work experience in a technical customer facing or support role in AdTech including 2+ years of management experience
- Good understanding of marketing data applications, especially in relation to the goals and mechanics of Adtech & Martech companies, ad agencies, and brands
- Client-centric, exceptional communicator with technical and business minded stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Technical acumen in troubleshooting, SQL and APIs, with basic knowledge of HTML and Javascript needed
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS (AdTech, MarTech, or Big Data a huge plus)
- Strong problem-solving mindset who thrives in fast-moving environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a talent for simplifying complex ideas
- Skilled at partnering with cross-functional teams to influence deals and deliver results
